Cypriot wins skeet shooting gold in University Games

Cypriot Andreas Hasikos has won the skeet shooting gold medal in the 24th World University Games.

With his victory, Hasikos has contributed to the Cypriot team of athletes clinching the silver medal for teams, combined with the achievements of Vassilis Soteriou and Elias Mastrou.

The Italian group of athletes has won the gold medal and China came in third.

Twenty-three-year-old Hasikos made a new International Universiades record with 146 hits out of 150.
