Parrot, one of the leaders in wireless peripherals around the mobile phone, has teamed with Orange to offer business customers the leading range of Bluetooth hands-free products.

Parrot’s second operator deal for 2007 means that Orange will now offer the wireless experts Bluetooth hands free kits to its Business Services customers. Businesses can choose either a Parrot CK3000 Evolution or CK3100 LCD Bluetooth car kit and both offers include installation at a location of the customer’s choosing.

Chris Roberts, Parrot UK Country Director, said: “We are seeing rapidly increasing demand for our products from the corporate, retailer and operator channels. Working with Orange marks a further milestone in this respect and it is a strong indication that Parrot is the solution of choice to help the corporate fleet stay legal.”

The Parrot CK3000 Evolution is a discreet unit which sits on the dashboard with no visible wires. Linking automatically with the driver’s mobile via a wireless Bluetooth connection, it is possible to make and receive calls using voice recognition, with audio played directly through the vehicles speaker system for crystal clear sound. It is compatible with all Bluetooth mobiles and the upgradeable software means drivers can change their handset without needing to replace their hands-free kit.

Installation of the units is easy with most completed in less than an hour. All that is visible to the driver is the small control wheel with Parrot’s distinctive three-button set-up.

Orange customers choosing the CK3100 LCD will benefit from the first Bluetooth hands-free car kit with LCD display. Drivers can place and receive calls in comfort and safety, without ever touching their mobile phone. The wireless connection between the CK3100 LCD and the Bluetooth phone and the voice recognition system is enabled as long as the phone is turned on. Audio is also played through the car’s speaker system.
