Atlantic declares dividend

Atlantic Insurance Co. Pcl (ATL) announced that a Board meeting held on April 19, 2007 at the Company’s Head Office, decided to approve the final results for the year ended December 31, 2006, fixed that the Annual General Meeting take place on Wednesday, May 30, 2007 at 17.00 at the Company’s Head Office. 

The Board also decided to propose to the AGM the payment of a dividend of 3.25 cents (€0.0562) per share that corresponds to 16.25% of the nominal value of the share.  The dividend will be paid to the shareholders registered as at June 4, 2007.  Pursuant to the CSE Trading Rules, transactions carried out two days prior, that is May 31 and June 1, 2007 will be ex-dividend.  The proposed dividend will be paid to the shareholders on June 25, 2007 (if approved). 

The AGM will be followed by an Extraordinary General Meeting for the approval of a resolution on buyback.
