PRO TECHnology wins Symantec best solutions award in MENA

PRO TECHnology, the leading integrator of storage and high availability solutions in the Middle East, has been named ‘Best Solutions Partner in MENA Region’ by Symantec at the recently concluded Middle East and North Africa Partners Summit & Awards ceremony. PRO TECHnology has previously been named Symantec Platinum Partner, the highest rank given to a channel partner.

The company also posted revenues exceeding AED 3 million by selling Symantec solutions such as Global Clustering, Campus Cluster and Disaster Recovery to enterprises and government sector in the first quarter of 2007.

The summit and awards event, held on March 7 at Park Hyatt Hotel Dubai, was organized by Symantec to support its channel partners in the Middle East and North Africa region in achieving and sustaining market growth. This year’s event focused on differentiating from competitors, identifying and developing new markets and exceeding market expectations by being at the forefront of technology.

PRO TECHnology and Symantec have been working together for eight years. As a platinum partner, PRO TECHnology is granted extensive access to Symantec’s marketing, sales and technical resources with an additional focus on joint planning and the development of mutually beneficial customer relationships.

PRO TECHnology recently participated at the CABSAT 2007 where it showcased its best-of-breed solutions from global giants such as Apple, Associated Press, Max-T, Nexsan Technologies, SAS Technology from Storageflex of Canada, Freecom, Canto, LinkSys, Netronics and Softron. During the event, it also launched its new wireless division that will cater to the growing demand for wireless networking and communication systems among small- to large-scale businesses and government institutions. During GITEX 2006, the company gained more than USD 4 million worth of deals.
