Gate fever hits Cypriots in February

 

On the basis of the results of the Passengers Survey, 65,019 residents of Cyprus returned from a trip abroad in February 2007 compared to 52,881 in the corresponding month last year recording an increase of 23.0%.

In February 2007 there was an increase of 32.2% on the trips of residents to Greece (from 21,982 in February 2006 to 29,070 in February 2007) and 32.9% increase to the United Kingdom (from 8,491 to 11,282).

However a significant decrease of 50.5% was recorded on trips of residents to Lebanon.
