Petroleum sales down in January

The total sales of petroleum products decreased by 8.9% compared to December 2006 and by 7% compared to January 2006.

The stocks at the end of the month fell by 12, 2% compared to the preceding month and increased by 12. 2% compared to the corresponding month of the previous year.

Total sales in 2006 reached 139,186 tonnes.
