Lufthansa winter specials for long haul e-tickets

Lufthansa German Airlines has published special fares from Cyprus for various long haul destinations for tickets which are issued electronically. Passengers who no longer want to travel with paper tickets can buy return tickets in economy class from Larnaca to Beijing or Shanghai from CYP 250,  to Boston, Chicago, Washington, Philadelphia from CYP 280, to Delhi, Kolkata from CYP 280, to  Dallas, Denver, Houston from CYP 300, to Los Angeles and San Francisco from CYP 320, and to Bangalore, Madras, Hyderabad from CYP 350.

Lufthansa was one of the first airlines to introduce electronic ticketing five years ago. Since then, passengers have made increasing use of this service, as reservations as well as procedures at the airports have become easier. Reservations are made electronically at www.lufthansa.com.cy or by telephone at Lufthansa or at any travel agency. The flight details are registered on the passenger’s credit card or Miles & More Frequent Flyer card of Lufthansa, and there is no need to pick up papers tickets. With the card the passenger can check-in directly at the counter or at electronic check-in terminals available at several Lufthansa-service airports where travellers can also use the quick boarding terminals. By boarding electronically passengers can avoid long waiting times and can enjoy seamless travel from check-in to final destination.

Lufthansa operates 19 weekly flights from Cyprus to Frankfurt and Munich with connections to international destinations. Together with partner carrier Aegean Airlines, Lufthansa offers 15 weekly direct connections from Larnaca to both Frankfurt and Munich and onward to international destinations.
