Alliance Re acquires Uni-Alliance

Alliance International Reinsurance Pcl (ALL) the acquisition of 100% of the share capital of Uni-Alliance Insurance Holdings Ltd (Uni Holdings). Uni Holdings owns 100% of the share capital of Crawley Warren International Insurance brokers Ltd (CWI), operating as an insurance broker, and Uni-Alliance Insurance Brokers Ltd (UB). Khader Hemsi (Chairman and CEO of ALL) and nKarim Hemsi (Executive Director of ALL) are also shareholders of Uni Holdings. According to management, this investment is expected to yield an annual return in excess of 10%. The consideration for the acquisition is set at
