Bank of Cyprus shares trading on the Athens Stock Exchange closed at a record EUR 10 per share on Monday while on the CSE, the BOCY shares also closed at a new record high of EUR 9.92.

The advance is significant considering that the Bank’s share price is approaching the level at which it was floated on the ASE six years ago. The BOCY advance coupled with record closes for both Laiki and Hellenic helped the CSE GENX close at an all-time high of 3761.43 points, for a daily 0.88% gain on EUR 15.17 mln volume on 3093 trades.

Laiki Bank closed at EUR 6.72 while Hellenic Bank, the subject of intense bid speculation closed at EUR 3.48 per share.
