MAI to appeal Alsako claim

Muskita Aluminium Industries Plc has said it will appeal against a decision issued by the Nicosia District Court in favour of Alsako Aluminium Ltd for the sum of CYP 1,391,045 or EUR 2.41 mln plus interest from July 27, 2001. The Company was one of the three defendants.

MAI is also in agreement with the other two defendants for the sharing of the sum that each one will submit if the appeal fails. In anticipation of the results of the appeal, the Company will issue a profit warning.
