Cyprus air transport turnover up 6.7% in Q2

Figures from the Cyprus Statistical Service show that turnover for air transport rose by 6.7% year on year in the second quarter, with the index reaching 145.7, from a base of 2000=100.

Turnover of post and telecommunications rose in the same period by 6.9%, with post and courier activities up by 3.4% and telecommunications up by 7.2%.

A decline was recorded in land transport (-4.3%), water (-4.4%) and auxiliary transport activities (-3.3%).
