CSE to close ahead of Common Platform launch

The Cyprus Stock Exchange is to cease trading from Thursday, October 26 and on Friday October 27 ahead of the official launch of the Common Trading Platform with the Athens Stock Exchange on Monday, October 30, 2006.

All settlement of trades will need to take place by Thursday 26 October. There will be no trading sessions on Thursday and Friday (26-27 October of this week).
The CTP will commence on Monday 30 October. This week will also mark the end of the current trading system ahead of the CTP on 30 October, with the last trading session this week being held on Wednesday 25 October.

Trading will resume on Monday, October 30, at 10.00 with all CSE titles quoted in euros and under the new rules and regulations introduced to facilitate the operation of the common trading platform.
