Loizou appointed Bulgarian Hon. Consul in Cyprus

The Deputy prime minister of Bulgaria, Foreign Minister Ivaylo Kalfin, was in Cyprus last week to inaugurate the office of the Honorary Consul in Cyprus, Vakis Loizou.

The ceremony took place at the Louis Apollonia Beach in Limassol attended by Labour Minister Christos Taliadoros and Limassol Mayor Demetris Kontides. Kalfin reviewed the historic relationship between the two countries in the political, economic and cultural areas, which he said will grow stronger after Bulgaria’s accession to the European Union.

Ivaylo Kalfin was accompanied by Bulgaria’s ambassador Petar Votenski and a large delegation of officials and business people.
