Coca-Cola Hellenic Bottling Company S.A. (Coca-Cola HBC, CCHBC) announced that its 100% subsidiary 3E (Cyprus) Ltd has acquired 95.53% of the issued share capital of Lanitis Bros. Ltd. either in response to the Public Offer launched by, 3E (Cyprus) on 27 January 2006, or purchased by 3E (Cyprus) on the Cyprus Stock Exchange since 27 January 2006.

3E (Cyprus) has thus acquired control of Lanitis Bros. at the price of 17.2 cent in cash.

3E (Cyprus) had previously announced that it would move to delist LB from the CSE if it managed to gain more than 90% control.

In a separate development, the Board of Directors of Lanitis Bros Public Limited decided to appoint Takis Taousianis and Takis Fekkos as new independent non-executive members of the Board of Directors with effect from March 15, 2006.

Taousianis has been the General Manager of the Cyprus Development Bank Ltd since 2003. He holds a BSc in Economics and an MBA in Business Administration. He had been the Managing Director of HSBC Group for 12 years and he is a non-executive member of the Board of Directors of LTV Ltd.

Fekkos has been the General Manager of JCC Payments Ltd since 1999. He holds a degree in Production Engineering and has an MBA in Business Administration. He is also a member of the Boards of Directors of CYTA and Cyprus Airways.
