Société Générale Cyprus (SGC) recently inaugurated its new Paralimni branch in a ceremony attended by a number of selected guests, leading business people, politicians and government officials, including the Mayor of Paralimni Nicos Vlittis.

The ceremony was opened with a speech by Jean Claude Boloux, General Manager of Société Générale Cyprus who said that the new branch was a strategic move as part of SGC’s plans to establish a presence in the major business centres across the island.

Boloux added that January also marks the launch of SGC’s new working hours. All branches are open to the public from 8:30am to 1:30pm and from 2:30pm to 4:00pm daily, Monday to Friday, making SGC the only local bank able to serve clients in the afternoons.

Operating since 1985, initially as an international banking unit, SGC now has branches in Nicosia, Limassol, Larnaca, Paphos and Paralimni.
