Cyprus 7-day yield at 2.73% average

The Central Bank of Cyprus announces that during the auction conducted on August 25, 2005 for the acceptance of deposits of 7-day duration, bids amounting to CYP 209.0 mln were submitted.

An amount of CYP 140.0 mln was absorbed at a weighted average allotment rate (yield) of 2.73%. The minimum and maximum allotment rates were 2.61% and 3.24%, respectively.
