Nintendo to launch new Game Boy Micro in September

Nintendo Co. is to introduce Game Boy Micro in Japan on September 13, Jiji Press reported Thursday.

Smaller than Game Boy Advance, the new mobile phone-sized game console weighs only 80 grams, is 50 millimetres long and 101 millimetres wide and will be marketed for 12,000 yen (110 dollars).

All Game Boy Advance software runs on the new version.

Game Boy Micro will be available in the U.S. a week later. (dpa)
