Industrial output rises 3.5% in Feb

The Index of Industrial Production for February 2005, (Base 2000=100), reached 103.4 units. For February 2005 the Index recorded an increase of 3.5% compared to February 2004.

For the period January-February 2005 the index showed an increase of 0.9% as compared to the same period of the previous year.

For Manufacturing the Index for February 2005 reached 97.5 units, recording an increase of 2.4% compared to February 2004.
