Cyprus pound CYP 0.5797/euro Thursday

The mid-rate between the spot exchange rates at the close of the fixing session of the Cyprus Foreign Exchange Market on Thursday was 0.5797 Cyprus pounds per euro.

This was 0.96% stronger than the Cyprus pound’s euro central rate in the Exchange Rate Mechanism (ERM2) of 0.585274 per euro.

Within ERM2 Cyprus has an official fluctuation band of 15% either side of the central rate.

The buy rate on Thursday was 0.5780, while the sell rate was 0.5814. These are the rates at which commercial banks are obliged to apply for transactions with value greater than CYP12,000 subject to prior agreement with the customer.
