Two foreigners, believed to be British nationals with the help of Greek Cypriots are reported to be sought by police in connection with information that they are actively involved in the sale of Greek Cypriot property in the occupied areas.

The head of the property developer companies in Paphos charged that the complaint against at least one British national living in the Paphos area had been made to the police a year-and-half ago, adding that nothing had been done yet.

Politicians from all the parties condemned the activity of the foreign nationals as well as their Greek Cypriot colleagues, calling on the police to arrest the property sharks.

However, by late Sunday, no arrests had been made but officers raided a house in Paphos and confiscated a computer and a number of documents, which indicate that properties were being sold illegally.

They were alerted to the fact through an Internet web page, which gave the contact information for Paphos.
