Fujitsu Siemens Computers has launched its new Stylistic ST5022 tablet PC, a slim, robust device utilising the latest Intel Centrino mobile technology.

Weighing only 1.55kgs, the compact A4 tablet can perform all functions using a special stylus pen. A wireless keyboard can also be used. Special features include a 12.1-inch indoor/outdoor display and a fingerprint sensor. Bluetooth and Wireless LAN are standard as well as a dual microphone system, which similar to the human ear, filters out background noise when recording.

“It is not only suitable for traditional fields of application like healthcare and insurance, but is also the right choice for construction site management and freight handling, where staff often move back and forth between the warehouse or office and outdoor locations,” said Susanne Lewitzki, Product Marketing Manager, Fujitsu Siemens Computers.

“With a battery life of up to 9 hours, the tablet PC lasts for a full working day without recharge. For stationary operation, the Stylistic tablet PC simply connects to a docking station to utilise the benefits of PC peripherals such as a keyboard, external monitor, network connection and DVD burner,” added Lewitzki.
