Nicosia Gen. Hospital to get Alcatel telephone system

Nedeco Electronics, Alcatel’s premium business partner in Cyprus, has won the tender to supply the new Nicosia General Hospital with the Alcatel Omni PCX Enterprise (OXE) system comprising of a switchboard and 1,634 fixed line telephone units, 300 wireless units, as well as IP support.

OXE can unify voice and data, primarily through the Voice Over IP protocol (VolP), which allows greater flexibility and savings time and money. The OXE is the new generation replacement of the successful Omni PCX 4400 system.
