CLR maintains lead as top broker

CLR Securities & Financial Services, a member of CLR Capital maintained its lead as the brokerage firm with the biggest market share, lifting its market share in February to 18.44% and since the start of 2005 to 18.84%, data released by the CSE show.

Sharelink Securities & Financial Services, a member of SFS Public Co. was in second position in terms of market share, with its share in February amounting to 13.62% and for the two first months at 12.99%.

CISCO, the investment and brokerage arm of Bank of Cyprus was in third position with a market share of 12.3% in February and 10.9% for the first two months.

In fourth place was Laiki Securities, a member of Laiki Investments with a 9.3% share in February, followed in fifth place by Mega Equity Financial Services with a 8.17% share.

The CSE data showed that there were 16 firms active on the CSE, including a representative from the Central Bank, trading exclusively in the trading of state bonds.
