Cyprus airports restore Europe flights, Emirates returns

Larnaca and Paphos airports operator Hermes said air connectivity with Europe has been restored, as several flights that were temporarily suspended due to the war in the Middle East resumed operations. Members of the Lufthansa Group (Lufthansa, Austrian, Edelweiss, Eurowings), as well as British Airways, easyJet and Transavia, have resumed their flights to and from Larnaca and Paphos airports.

As of Saturday, Emirates also resumed the Larnaca–Dubai route, operating on a daily basis.

As of Monday, a total of 102 flights operate at Larnaca airport and 36 flights at Paphos.

Gulf Air, Etihad and Qatar Airways are yet to resume their flights. Cancelled flights concern services to and from Israel, Qatar and Bahrain.

The two Cyprus airports currently offer direct connections to and from the following countries:
