Cyprus trade deficit widens in January

The trade deficit in January 2007 widened to CYP 201.9 mln in January 2007 compared with CYP 187.9 mln in the corresponding month of 2006.

Total imports/arrivals (covering total imports from third countries and arrivals from other member states) amounted to CYP 266.2 mln in January 2007, compared with CYP 247.5 mln in January 2006.

Total exports/dispatches (covering total exports to third countries and dispatches to other member states) amounted to CYP 64.3 mln in January 2007, compared with CYP 59.6 mln in January 2006.

Total exports/dispatches (covering total exports to third countries and dispatches to other member states) including stores and provisions in January 2007 amounted to CYP 64.3 mln.

Εxports/dispatches of domestically produced goods including stores and provisions were CYP 21.2 mln and exports/dispatches of foreign goods including stores and provisions CYP 43.1 mln.
