SEC warns against unlicensed sites

The Securities and Exchange Commission informed the investing public that Gerald Morse (professional pseudonym Investor Morse), who has a website (http://www.investormorse.com) providing trust asset management services and investment advices has not secured a license for the offer of investment and other relevant services in the Republic by the SEC.
Has not secured a license for the offer of investment and other relevant services in the Republic by the Central Bank, and is not based in Cyprus and does not offer cross-border investment and other relevant services, pursuant to the provisions of articles 24-31 of the EPEY Law.
The SEC urges the investing public to visit its website (http://www.cysec.gov.cy) in order to confirm which companies have a license to provide investment and other relevant services in the Republic before cooperating with persons that provide or allegedly provide investments and other relevant services.
