SEC warns on European American Prosp. Trust

The Cyprus Securities & Exchange Commission has issued a warning that the European American Prosperity Trust (EAPT), which in its web site (http://www.eaptrust.com) says it maintains an office in Cyprus and offers trust asset management services has not been vetted by it.

The Cyprus SEC states that the company does not have a license from it to offer investment and other services, does not have a permit from the Central Bank to offer banking operations and it does not have an office in Cyprus.

The SEC calls on investors to always check for the level of services on offer by financial services through its web site (http://cysec.gov.cy) before engaging in any agreement.
