Bakoyiannis to discuss Cyprus problem with UNSG

The Cyprus problem will be among the issues which Greek Foreign Minister Dora Bakoyiannis will discuss during a meeting on Monday with UN Secretary-General Kofi Annan at the UN headquarters in New York.

The meeting takes place on the sidelines of the 61st session of the UN General Assembly and the Greek presidency of the Security Council.

According to the Athens News Agency, Bakoyiannis will discuss with Annan the situation in the Middle East, the future status of Kosovo and the Cyprus problem.

Bakoyiannis will depart for Washington on Monday afternoon.
