Cyprus wholesale turnover up 8.6% in H1

According to the Statistical Service, the turnover value index of wholesale trade and commission trade in Cyprus for June 2006 increased by 0.6 units or 0.4% to 158.1 units compared to 157.5 in May 2006.

For period January-June 2006 the index recorded an increase of 8.6% compared to the corresponding period of 2005.

The turnover value index of sale and repair of motor vehicles and retail sale of automotive fuel, June 2006 decreased by 0.6 units or 0.4% to 160.5 units compared to 161.1 in May 2006.

For period January-June 2006 the Index recorded an increase of 3.6% compared to the corresponding period of 2005.
