Nokia VP to address Cyprus Chamber on leadership success

Veli Sundback, the executive vice president of Nokia, will be the main speaker at the Nicosia Chamber of Commerce Annual Business Leaders Luncheon on October 6, where he will speak on the success of the Nokia business model, “The way towards global leadership.”

The event is being organized to coincide with Finland’s presidency of the European Union during the second half of 2006.

Sundback has been an executive member of Nokia’s management board since 1996, and is also a board member at Finnair.

He has previously served as director general of the Finnish Foreign Ministry, as well as chief negotiator during Finland’s run-up to EU accession.
