Dodoni profit improve in H106

Dodoni Portfolio Investments Pcl (DOD) reported that net profit attributable to shareholders during the first half of 2006 improved to CYP 2.941.739 from CYP 1.8 mln a year ago in the same period and CYP 3.94 mln for whole of 2005.

Profits from realized gains on investments were flat at CYP 465k from CYP 432k a year ago but revaluation gains in the period surged to CYP 4.35 mln from CYP 1.96 mln. Earnings per share were 1.11 cent for the first half of 2006 from 0.69c a year ago and 1.48c for the whole of 2005.

Shareholders funds’ improved to CYP 18.46 mln from CYP 13 mln a year ago and CYP 15.3 mln end of 2005.
