Multichoice Hellas announced that it will sue LTV for suspending the transmission of its content to NOVA Cyrus subscribers, insisting that it gave every opportunity to LTV to comply with their binding agreements, but all efforts failed to break the impasse.

“Multichoice Hellas is obliged to exercise all its contractual and legal rights as well as to claim the restitution of any damage it suffered.”

Last week, LTV announced the sudden termination of its content through the Nova platform, a move which affected some 25,000 Nova subscribers. LTV said the move was the result of an “unreasonable refusal” by Multichoice Hellas SA, owners of Nova Cyprus to pay them fees totaling CYP 500.000 due for the months of April and May.
