The World Trade Center Cyprus and The World Trade Center Mumbai have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in order further to strengthen bilateral trade, investment and technological cooperation between the two countries.

The MoU was signed during the recent European and Middle East and Africa Regional Meetings of the World Trade Centers Association, which was held in Limassol from 17 to 21 May 2006.

The MoU aims to expand and strengthen “bilateral trade, investment related information and technological and industrial cooperation between the two countries”, an official statement has said.

“The agreement reaffirms the recent visit of President of the Republic of Cyprus Tassos Papadopoulos to India during which the President and Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh agreed to review areas of cooperation between the two countries,” it added.
