Total imports/arrivals in Cyprus in January-November 2005 amounted to 2,645.7 million pounds, while total exports/dispatches were 619.1 mn pounds, with the trade deficit being 2,026.5 mn pounds.

According to the Statistical Service of Cyprus, total imports/arrivals (covering total imports from third countries and arrivals from other EU member states) in January-November 2005 amounted to 2,645.7 mn pounds as compared to 2,415.4 mn pounds in the corresponding period of 2004.

Total exports/dispatches (covering total exports to third countries and dispatches to other EU member states) in January-November 2005 were 619.1 mn pounds compared to 500.5 mn pounds in January-November 2004.

The trade deficit was 2,026.5 mn pounds in January-November 2005 compared to 1,914.9 mn pounds in the corresponding period of 2004.

During November 2005 total imports/arrivals (covering total imports from third countries and arrivals from other EU member states) valued at 298.8 mn pounds.

Total exports/dispatches (covering total exports to third countries and dispatches to other EU member states), including stores and provisions, in November 2005 amounted to 68.3 mn pounds.

?xports/dispatches of domestically produced goods, including stores and provisions, were 30.1 mn pounds and exports/dispatches of foreign goods, including stores and provisions, 38.2 mn pounds.
