The Cyprus Investment Promotion Agency (CIPA) and the Research Promotion Foundation (RPF) are giving Cypriot start-ups the opportunity to take part in the popular conference Web Summit, which will be held in Lisbon, Portugal on November 6-9.

The Web Summit, the world’s largest tech conference, is held annually with the participation of hundreds of start-ups from all over the world. At the conference, participating representatives of start-ups will have the opportunity to attend presentations by the heads of successful companies and engage in contact with potential investors.
As part of this effort, the two organisations hope to offer the required impetus to Cypriot start-ups looking for funding and international networking, helping to promote them at an international level.
There will be a pitching competition for those start-ups seeking CIPA and RPF support to participate in the Web Summit 2017.
Three out of the final number of start-ups which will be selected (categories Alpha (2) and Beta (1)), will have the opportunity to showcase their company at a separate booth at the conference’s exhibition area.
Interested teams can submit their applications at the following electronic link https://www.f6s.com/pitch4websummit/apply by May 15. The final selection will be made in June 2017.
