CYPRUS: Limassol Marina team get on their Gocycles

Limassol Marina has teamed up with Enviromotion Ltd. to add the Gocycle electric bikes to its fleet of environmentally friendly vehicles for staff to use around the marina.

 
The foldable and lightweight electric bike was designed by ex-Formula One McLaren car designer Richard Thorpe in London. Celebrity Gocycle owners include Christiano Ronaldo, Eddie Jordan, Chris Evans and Cara Delevingne.
The magnesium alloy frame is resistant to salt water corrosion, partly why the bike is very popular in marinas, while its lithium ion battery is hidden within the sleek frame and there are no external cables. Even the chain is hidden to protect from damage, which means there is no oil, sprockets or gears.
Enviromotion Ltd is selling the revolutionary Gocycle through its trade partners on the island. Enquiries can be made at Blue Point Yachting and Princess Yachts. Both shops have demonstration models and Gocycle will be available for test rides at the forthcoming Limassol Boat Show, May 5-7.
