CYPRUS: Health Ministry and WHO sign cooperation agreement

The Ministry of Health of the Republic of Cyprus has signed a cooperation agreement with the World Health Organisation (WHO), which will contribute to the implementation of the necessary reforms in the health sector.

According to an official press release, a WHO support team will provide the Cypriot authorities with technical assistance and know – how in order to better implement the reforms in the health sector, the most important of which is the implementation of a National Health System.

The agreement is co-financed by Cypriot national funds and EU Structural Funds.
