President Nicos Anastasiades and Turkish Cypriot Leader, Dervis Eroglu, will have a working meeting on June 2nd, as agreed at Tuesday`s meeting of the negotiators of the two sides, Andreas Mavroyiannis and Kudret Ozersay.

Replying to a question by CNA about today`s meeting, Government Spokesman, Nicos Christodoulides, said that the two negotiators also discussed issues concerning external relations and property.

The next meeting of the negotiators will be held on Friday, May 30, and they will discuss the executive and legislative power, external relations, Public Service, the property issue and the competencies of the central government, he added.

Moreover, it was agreed to schedule a meeting of experts of the two sides on property matters next week, the Spokesman told CNA.

Cyprus was divided in 1974 when Turkey invaded and occupied its northern third. The leaders of the two communities agreed in February on a joint declaration which paved the way for the UN-backed talks to resume with the aim to reunite the island under a federal roof.
