Less Cypriot residents traveled abroad in December

Cypriot residents returning from a trip abroad in December 2013 recorded a drop of 2.3% compared to the same month of the previous year.

According to the results of a Passengers Survey, published on Monday by the Cyprus Statistical Survey, 80,459 Cyprus residents returned from a trip abroad in December 2013 compared to 82,352 in the corresponding month of 2012, recording a decrease of 2.3%.

In December 2013 there was a drop of 4.2% on the trips of residents to Greece (27,194 in December 2013 compared to 28,385 in December 2012) and 8.4% to the United Kingdom (26,279 compared to 28,681 in the previous year).
