FM Kasoulides to discuss Africa, Middle East at Foreign Affairs Council

Foreign Minister Ioannis Kasoulides is in Brussels to take part in the deliberations of the EU Foreign Affairs Council (FAC).

The FAC agenda includes the developments in Syria and Egypt, the Middle East Peace Process, the EU strategic engagement in Afghanistan and the situation in the Central African Republic, considering a possible crisis management operation in the framework of the Common Security and Defence Policy.

Furthermore, the EU Foreign Minister will exchange views on EU – Russia relations, in view of the upcoming EU-Russia Summit, which will take place in Brussels between 27-28 January.

The Minister will return home on Tuesday.
