The European parliament’s page on the 2014 Euro elections is now online at www.elections2014.eu with all the information one needs regarding the lection of MEPs, the political groupings and the process that will take place throughout the EU28 on May 22-25.
Cyprus, which elects six MEPs, will go to the polls on May 25, while a recent amendment to the lections law allows other European citizens resident in Cyprus to submit their candidacy for their home country.
The website includes up-to-date news in the form of articles, press releases, background notes, slideshows and infographics, in short, all products relevant to the election campaign.
In addition there will be data sheets on the member states, with information on issues such as the economy, technology, jobs, education, environment, energy and society. They offer a fully interactive, visual overview of data collected from all the countries in the EU.
Apart from getting informed through the website, citizens can also join the debate on Twitter using the #EP2014 hashtag.
