President Anastasiades – Rompuy meeting underway in Brussels

President of the Republic Nicos Anastasiades’ meeting with President of the European Council Herman Van Rompuy is underway in Brussels.

The Cyprus economy, the course of implementation of the memorandum of understanding with the Troika lenders, (IMF, European Central Bank and European Commission) as well as the latest developments on the Cyprus problem are the most important issues on the agenda.

President Anastasiades is accompanied by Foreign Minister Ioannis Kasoulides, Government Spokesman Christos Stylianides, Cyprus’ Permanent Representative to the EU, Ambassador Kornelios Korneliou and the Director of the President’s diplomatic office Nicos Christodoulides.
