Green Dot Cyprus launches app for better collection

Green Dot Cyprus, the public collection and recycling monopoly, has launched its own application for smart phones.
The new app operates via GPS and GSM and informs users about door-to-door collection days and points glass and other recyclable items, and also pinpoints the collection stations for other material.
The app, available in both Greek and English, also contains information about Green Dot, the categories of recyclable items and how they are collected. There is also information about the AFIS battery collection service, as well as Electroyclosis for the collection of electric appliances and electronic hardware (PCs, old TV sets, kitchenware, etc.)
The iOS (Apple) and Android apps are free for download from the Apple Store and Google Play Store, or directly from:
