Musical talents at 5th Cyprus–Russia Gala

The fifth annual Cyprus-Russian Gala will be held on the grounds of the University of Cyprus next Wednesday, September 10, with the participation of fine musical talents from Cyprus and Russia.
This year’s event, which is being held in cooperation with the Ministry of Education and is under the patronage of First Lady Elsie Christofias, will feature young performers from the Spivakof Foundation which supports and develops children with special talent in music, dance, painting, poetry and art.
Also taking part in the Gala are the Cyprus Young String Soloists, the A' Cappella ExpreSSS vocal groups from Russia, with a repertoire to jazz, pop, classical and folk music, the "Melodites" School for the Blind, popular singer Lubeh, and Cyprus-born Michalis Hadjiyiannis considered the most successful Greek artist of the last decade.
