Trade deficit reaches EUR 462.9 mln (prov) in April w

Total imports/ arrivals in April reached EUR 530.0 mln, according to preliminary figures.
Of this, EUR 346.0 constituted were arrivals from other member states of the EU, while EUR 184.2 mln imports from third countries.
Total exports/dispatches amounted to EUR 105.2 mln , of which EUR 67.1 mln were dispatches to other member states of the EU and EUR 38.1 mln exports to third countries.
The trade deficit for April was thus EUR 462.9 mln.
According to revised data for March, the trade deficit shrank a little to EUR 1,227.1 mln in January-March 2011 compared with EUR 1,243.5 mln in the corresponding period of 2010.
Total imports/arrivals (covering total imports from third countries and arrivals from other Member States) in January-March 2011 amounted to EUR 1,560.8 mln, compared with EUR 1,510.5 mln in January-March 2010.
Total exports/dispatches (covering total exports to third countries and dispatches to other member states) in January-March 2011 reached EUR 333.7 mln compared with EUR 266.9 mln in January-March 2010.
During March alone total imports/arrivals (covering total imports from third countries and arrivals from other member states) were valued at EUR 582.2 mln .
Total exports/dispatches, including stores and provisions, amounted to EUR 126.3 mln. Εxports/dispatches of domestically produced goods, including stores and provisions, reached EUR 70.6 mln whilst exports/dispatches of foreign goods, including stores and provisions, reached EUR 55.7 mln .
