Cyprus petroleum sales down 0.9% in Jan-Apr

Total sales of petroleum products in April 2011 fell by 6.7% compared with the previous month according to the Statistical Service.
It noted that “a considerable decrease” was recorded in the sales of Kerosene, Gasoil, Liquefied Petroleum Gases, Gasoil Low Sulphur, Unleaded Motor Gasoline and Gasoil for marine use.
By contrast, an increase was recorded in the sales of Aviation Kerosene.
Total stocks of petroleum products at the end of the month fell by 22.5% compared with the previous month.
During the period January – April 2011 total sales of petroleum products recorded an increase of 0.9% compared with the corresponding period of the previous year.
