The Cyprus Ministry of Finance, which has taken responsibility for public debt management, announced the results of the auction of 52-week and 26-week Treasury bills with issue date April 20 as follows.
The total amount offered for sale of 52-week bills was EUR 200 mln, while the total amount bid was EUR 262 mln.
Accepted bids amounted to EUR 210 mln.
The weighted average price was EUR 969.1322, giving an average yield of 3.15%.
In the auction for 26-week bills, EUR 50 mln was offered, bids received amounted to EUR 67 mln, of which EUR 57 mln were competitive.
However, the authorities did not accept any of the bids (presumably because the 52-week bill issue was successful).
