Jan-Nov trade deficit reaches EUR 4.9 bln

The trade deficit in Cyprus reached EUR 4,891.4 mln in January-November 2010 compared with EUR 4,326.8 mln in the corresponding period of 2009 according to revised data.
Total imports/arrivals (covering total imports from third countries and arrivals from other Member States) in January-November 2010 amounted to EUR 5,930.4 mln compared with EUR 5,215.3 mln in January-November 2009.
Total exports/dispatches (covering total exports to third countries and dispatches to other Member States) in January-November 2010 reached EUR 1,038.9 mln compared with EUR 888.4 mln in January-November 2009.
During November 2010 total imports/arrivals (covering total imports from third countries and arrivals from other Member States) were valued at EUR 710.2 mln.
Total exports/dispatches (covering total exports to third countries and dispatches to other Member States) including stores and provisions in November 2010 amounted to EUR 111.4 mln.
Εxports/dispatches of domestically produced goods, including stores and provisions, reached EUR 52.0 mln whilst exports/dispatches of foreign goods, including stores and provisions, reached EUR 59.4 mln.
