Cyprus credit transactions up 3% in January-October

Cypriot credit card purchases were up 3 percent in January-October compared with the same period last year, with an 8 percent rise in October alone, clearing agency JCC said on Friday.

Payments on credit from January to October totalled 1.54 billion euros, while the number of transactions rose 5 percent, JCC said. Numbers of purchases rose 6 percent year in year in October while the average per transaction fell to 73 euros from 75.
