The French architect of the ambitious Limassol Marina, Xavier Bohl, as well as the project’s General Manager, Takis Palekythritis, visited the Town Planning Department to discuss details and progress of the EUR 350 mln development.
They were accompanied by project partners from Sogreah and the local architects and engineering firm, Modinos & Vrahimis.
The Marina aims to become a major international sailing attraction and construction work will include all the necessary port buildings and facilities for pleasure boats, as well as their maintenance.
The whole development also aims to contribute significantly to the area’s tourism infrastructure as it will provide leisure and holiday homes in the heart of Limassol, a stone’s throw away from the old castle and the nearby tourist area.
